Yesterday, members of the Round Lake Fire Department conducted pump operator training members during the Tuesday morning drill.

Thank you to the members who staffed the food booth at the antiques festival, the Village Illumination Ceremony and the truck detail on Sunday morning.

The Saratoga Springs Fire & Police Baseball Club is sponsoring a fundraising baseball game to benefit the Broadbents of Ballston Lake, who suffered a devastating house fire a couple weeks ago.

Thank you to Croteau’s Service Center for assiting us in getting our 1926 Child’s Fire Truck to the Village of Round Lake 150th Celebration today.

At 9:44 am Round Lake and Malta Ridge fire departments were dispatched to a car into a building on Round Lake Road. Car 54 and 754 arrived to find a vehicle that had hit the front of a dentist office.

RLFD was dispatched with Malta Ridge for a reported working structure fire on East Line Road. Car 54 immediately requested mutual aid from Ballston Spa, Jonesville and a FAST assignment from Saratoga Springs.

Yesterday members of the Round Lake Fire Department participated in the Village Memorial Day ceremony to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.

At 9:17 am Round Lake and Malta Ridge were dispatched to a reported vehicle fire on East Line Road involving a pick up truck.

A group of local residents led by Maggy White put together a recognition dinner for the FD members at their monthly meeting. She and many others fed over 40 fire fighters a wonderful Italian style meal complete with too many desserts.
